Role Overview:

The Purchasing Analyst will be part of Oracle’s Global Purchasing Team, responsible for reviewing purchase requisitions and creating purchase orders in compliance with Oracle’s procurement and finance policies. This role is focused on mitigating organizational risk and ensuring policy adherence through accurate documentation and process execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review approved requisitions and create purchase orders in line with Oracle’s Global Purchasing and Finance policies.
  • Action notifications for PO changes and extensions.
  • Collaborate with strategic teams, requesters, and support teams to deliver end-to-end procurement solutions.
  • Identify and propose process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Follow desktop procedures and documented work instructions meticulously.
  • Support continuous process optimization and innovation.
  • Communicate effectively across different levels of the organization and with external teams.

MS Excel, Data Analysis, Process Documentation, Procurement Systems, Communication, Logical Thinking

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Any Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in any discipline)

Professional Experience:

  • 0 to 1 year of work experience in a relevant or administrative field

Essential Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with strong adherence to process documentation
  • Logical thinker with the ability to follow structured guidelines
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various departments and hierarchies
  • Comfortable with identifying process improvement opportunities and suggesting workarounds
